Ildiko Vass is probably the most experienced player on the roster. She won a bronze medal in the Baltic League in 2005-06 and was named 2005 Player of the Year in Romania. She was also the tenth leading scorer at EuroBasket Women 2005 in Turkey and the top-scorer of the German Bundesliga in 2005 where she averaged 18.2 points per game. Vass has Hungarian origins and Romanian citizenship and is also the only player on the National Team with her own website, www.vassildiko.de, which she personally updates. A very warm and friendly person, she is loved by the fans everywhere and is a media favourite.
