Gabriela Kubatova suffered heartache two years ago when she was released from the roster having just missed out on the final roster spot selected by Pokey Chatman despite having played a prominent role during qualifying, often as starting point guard. While she didn't play last summer, Kubatova could be back in the mix and offering her all-around skills which include good court vision, a high IQ on the court and an ability to get to the hoop. While her perimeter game is probably not as consistent as she might like, she can make shots. Kubatova represented her country at youth level and has won titles in Austria. She spent last season playing in the second division of French basketball. |
