Perfectly setting up her teammates: Elin Eldebrink for Villeneuve d'Ascq

A wonderful line from Swedish national team star Elin Eldebrink and 24 points from Lenae Williams carried Villeneuve d'Ascq to a crushing win against domestic rivals Nantes Reze.

Eldebrink finished with a fantastic double-double of 14 points and 12 assists, whilst also pulling down seven boards to carry her team to an 83-56 victory in Group F.

Brittainey Raven and Rebecca Tobin propelled Aluinvent Miskolc to a first Group E win with a convincing 106-60 success against Lotto Young Cats, with the former harvesting a game-high 26 points and the latter claiming 14 points and 15 boards.

Basket Landes remained undefeated in Group E after the conclusion of the first two games after winning 51-45 at TSV Wasserburg, courtesy of 16 points from Danielle Page, whilst Emma Cannon had 14 points and 15 rebounds for the losing side.

The biggest drama of the evening came in the Turkish city of Mersin, where the hometown favourites clinched a thrilling 83-80 Group B win against Chevakata Vologda. Matee Ajavon led the way with 19 points and seven assists, whilst sister duo Courtney and Ashley Paris both completed double-doubles in points and rebounds.

Meanwhile in Group G, there were celebrations in the Hungarian town of Komlo after Pinkk Pecsi 424 claimed the first EuroCup Women win in their history.

Head coach Roberto Hernandez and his team got off the mark by gutting out a hard fought 69-63 victory against Wallonia Basket who themselves made history of the same kind during week one.

The visitors were undone by 26 turnovers and despite 24 points from Latvian Anete Steinberga and an impressive double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds by Celeste Trahan, they were still defeated.

Pinkk Pecsi 424 produced a real team performance, with all eleven players getting onto the score-sheet and a 7-2 run to finish the game wrapping up the win. Louella Tomlinson had a superb five blocked shots for the home side.

MBK Ruzomberok also got their first victory in the same group, but did so in real style by routing Tarbes Gespe Bigorre 78-56 off the back of 13 points, eight rebounds, six assists and two steals from Katarina Ristic.
