EuroLeague Women runners-up Fenerbahce keep dominating the domestic scene after clinching their 8th consecutive TKBL title with a 70-62 win over arch-rivals Galatasaray.

In the decisive fifth game of the series, Roberto Iniguez's side fell behind early in the game, finishing the first quarter on the wrong side of a 12-22 scoreline.

Led by Cappie Pondexter, who had 15 points alone in the second frame, they stormed back to claim a 40-38 half-time lead.

Galatasaray managed to stay in the game for the entire third quarter, leveling the score at 52 heading into the final stanza.

There, Fener surged ahead, limiting Gala to a mere 10 points, all but securing the win.

Pondexter lead all scorers with 27 points, while Serbian center Ivana Matovic added 20 and pulled down eight rebounds.

Ann Wauters was Galatasaray's best performer with 25 points and eight rebounds.

BLMA PUT FINALS DISAPPOINTMENT ASIDE - WIN CUP

Only days after losing the French league finals to Bourges Basket, Basket Lattes Montpellier Agglomeration capped off their season on a high, beating Nantes Reze in the French Cup final in Paris, 67-64.

24 points by Gaelle Skrela spurred BLMA, who had won the regular season of the French Ligue Feminin.

Leading comfortably, BLMA let things slip late and Nantes surged back, having a chance to win it on the last shot.

Marielle Amant missed the last try for Nantes, leaving BLMA to celebrate at least one title for the season.

Laura Macchi chipped in with 12 points while fellow Italy international Giorgia Sottana added nine.

Slovakia international Marie Ruzickova had a game-high 17 points for Lucca in defeat.

ATHLETE CELJE RULE IN SLOVENIA

Athlete Celje clinched their ninth domestic league title with a 3-0 series win over Triglav on Sunday.

What looked like a walk-through from the outside was a hard-fought game, as Celje had to overcome a 17-31 half-time deficit.

Led by Sanja Orozović's 22 points, Celje regrouped after the break and erased the deficit in the third frame.

The last quarter was a nervous affair, with Celje holding on for a narrow 65-59 win.
