Quotes SISU vs Arras

Arras Head Coach Thibaut Petit:

"I was surprised how easy it was this time. SISU played a great game in Arras and we have a lot of respect for them. The difference compared to the first game was that we had a plan today, our first priority was defense. And we turned the ball over too much in the first game and we were not quick on the offense, so we decided to work on that and execute on that. Our plan was to keep SISU to 45 points, and they got 49.

We were trying too hard on the press in the first half and giving away silly fouls. We changed this in the second half and it worked for us.

SISU are a good team. They have some good young players and play a good hard competitive game. They played a great first game, and they have some work to do, but fundamentally they are good, no problem."

SISU Head Coach Hrannar Holm:

"You have to rebound well and you have to make your shots to stay in the game against a team as good as Arras. Maybe after the first game we expected something else. We played a bad game tonight. We can learn from this: every defeat we can use to convert to something good. It’s a new thing for us; we win everything in Denmark."
