Marina Kuzina put up a massive double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds

There were two games in EuroCup Women on Thursday evening that featured one Russian and one Belorussian team each.

Each country got one win as BC Horizont won on the road in Noginsk and Dynamo Moscow beat Minsk 2006 at home.

BC Horizont led from start to finish as they began their EuroCup Women Group B campaign with a 69-62 road win over Spartak Noginsk.

Tatsiana Likhtarovich scored 19 points and Biljana Pavicevic added 14 for the visitors, while Marina Ivanoya led Spartak's resistance with 17 points.

Marina Kuzina's 18 points and 14 rebounds led Dynamo Moscow to a 67-61 victory over Minsk-2006 in the opening game of their Group G campaign.

Dynamo led throughout and also got 13 points from Anastasia Pimenova and 10 each from Varvara Psareva and Kristina Alikina.

Maria Cherepanova's huge night saw Chevakata open their Group A campaign with a 91-57 rout of Zeljeznicar.

Cherepanova collected 19 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists, while Jessica Davenport poured in 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

Seat Györ edged out Nantes Reze 64-61 in a close finish in Group H.

Nantes had snatched a 61-60 lead on Jenna Smith's jump-shot with 1:56 to go, but Abisola Olajuwon's jump-shot put Györ back in front before Essence Carson iced it from the free-throw line.

10. Elena Danilochkina (Chevakata)
Elena Danilochkina had 14 points for Chevakata in the routing of Zeljeznicar

Carson led the victors with 19 points.

In Group C, 16 points from Milica Dabovic and 15 from Dajana Butulija led Partizan Galenika to a 64-54 road win over Aris Thessaloniki.

Jasmine Stone had a huge night on the boards for the victors with 19 rebounds, while Camille Lenoir led Aris with 19 points.

Melissa Dennett had 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead BBC Sint-Katelijne Waver to a 71-64 victory over Szeviep in Group L.

Daphne Dan Vessel added 15, Sara Leemans 12 and Miete Celus 10 as the hosts ran out easy winners.

Szeviep wasted 24 points from Bernadett Nemeth.

Tyresa Smith led five players scoring in double figures as the Saarlouis Royals enjoyed a 90-71 win over Vagos on the road in Group H.

Stina Barnert added 17 points, Janina Wellers and Shanara Hollinquest had 13 each, and Petra Manakova chipped in with 10.

Chineze Nwagbo led Vagos with 22 points.

Vera Perostiyska's 23 points paced Energa Torun's 92-50 demolition of Sport Alges e Dafundo in Group J.

Monika Krawiec added 18 while Lizanne Murphy had six points and 11 rebounds.
