Mann Filter Zaragoza have designs on going all the way in the EuroCup Women but right now, they're looking to make some headlines in Spain's Liga Femenina.

They have an opportunity to claim a big scalp on Thursday night when they host Copa de la Reina winners and EuroLeague Women play-off outfit, Rivas Ecopolis.

The Zaragoza team also played at the Copa but fell to Ros Casares in the last four while Rivas upset Halcon Avenida before beating the tournament hosts Ros in a thrilling final.

Victor Lapeña, the coach of Mann Filter, said: "This Thursday we have an exciting game.

"To play against the reigning Copa winners with players of great international prestige as Amaya Valdemoro and Elisa Aguilar means being able to enjoy the best women's basketball at this time."

Both teams are 11-4 in the Liga Femenina.

The winner of Thursday's clash will take over sole possession of third place.

"It's something the players and coaching staff all want and we're working very hard to achieve," Lapeña said.
