In the Arras triumph, Bruno Blier's squad trailed midway through the third quarter before getting their noses in front and claiming a narrow triumph.
France international Johanne Gomis had 22 points and Pauline Akonga 21 for Arras, who will take on Dynamo-GUVD in the EuroCup Women Quarter-Final first leg in Russia on February 3.
Allison Hightower led a balanced Nantes attack with 15 points in their victory.
In the Quarter-Finals of the EuroCup Women, Laurent Buffard's team will square off against Chevakata with the first leg in France.
Elsewhere, Natalya Myasoedova had 14 points and 15 rebounds for Dynamo-GUVD but they lost 72-68 in their Russian league encounter to Dynamo Moscow on Sunday.
Chevakata were thrashed at home by UMMC Ekaterinburg, 80-50.
Mann Filter Zaragoza are going to be taking on Sony Athinaikos in the EuroCup Women last eight.
The Spanish side prevailed 65-53 at Cadi La Seu D'Urgell in the Liga Femenina.
Spain international Lucila Pascua finished with 18 points for Zaragoza.
Gran Canaria, the Quarter-Final opponents of Elitzur Ramla, squared off against UNB Obenasa Lacturale in Pamplona and rolled to a 69-57 victory.
Patricia Arguello had 21 points for the Canary Islanders.
Elitzur Ramla are flying high in Israel with 13 wins and just one defeat.
They were not in domestic league action.
Defending EuroCup Women champions Sony Athinaikos got a double-double from Marina Kress and beat AEO Proteas Voulas, 68-54.
Belarus international Kress finished with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
German veteran Linda Frohlich, who was on the books of Ros Casares earlier this season in the EuroLeague Women, scored 12 points and hauled in nine boards but also turned the ball over six times for Proteas.
