Cras Basket Taranto slipped to a 63-60 defeat at CB Feve San Jose on Thursday but prevailed in the EuroCup Women Quarter-Final tie because of their huge first-leg triumph.
The Italians won the opening game at home 66-43, so they finished with a 20-point win on aggregate.
Cras Basket Taranto were never in danger of blowing their lead in the tie.
The biggest advantage Spanish outfit San Jose had was six points in the first half.
They also led by five on three occasions in the second half - twice in the third quarter.
Eshaya Murphy scored 30 points for San Jose while for Cras, Suzy Batkovic scored 17 and Ilisaine David 16.
Another interesting performance was provided by Elodie Godin of Cras. She had two points but pulled down a game-high 17 rebounds.
