Milda Sauliute is the kind of player who reminds us how stats don't show us those all-important intangibles on the court. Look at her numbers and they might not be as exciting or as impressive as some of her teammates but the one telling number is the amount of court time she was handed for club team VICI Aistes Kaunas last season. She also averaged around ten minutes per game at National Team level during the Qualifying Round last summer and will probably have a similar role once again. Certainly her work-rate and defence shouldn't be under-estimated. She remains a great player off the bench for Coach Paulauskas who recognises she brings the kind of experience and reliability which can prove to be absolutely priceless.
