Delta ICP finally picked up their first win of the Pan-European phase with a home win over French club USO Mondeville.

The first quarter belonged to USO's Brazilian center Jucimara Dantas. She hit for 11 points, including 3 consecutive baskets at the end of the period to give her side a 9-point margin, 18:27.

Dantas picked up 2 offensive fouls early in the next period which forced her to the bench. It also gave Delta a chance to get back into the game, which is exactly what they did. A basket from Zuzana Skvareková gave Delta the lead at 28:27.

USO fought back, but Delta countered with a switch to zone defense. The adjustment worked and a 10:2 run just before halftime gave the home team a 47:43 advantage.

The game turned once again after halftime with the return of Dantas into the game. She scored a further 10 3rd quarter points and was ably assisted by Anete Jekabsone, who finished the game with 22 points. Delta, however, turned the momentum in their favour. A 3-point buzzer beater from Slávka Frniaková cut the lead to just 2 points going into the final period.

USO switched to zone in the 4th quarter but Delta had no problems scoring and took an 82:75 lead after 6 minutes. As expected, USO made a final run to try to win the game, but Delta's defense held firm.
