Duboiskaya is the only player on the team left from the old guard. Raised playing basketball for the Soviet Union, she is one of the best scorers in Belarus’ National Team history. For many years Duboiskaya played for both country and clubs alongside her twin sister Aksana Dauharukava, forming a reliable and dangerous scoring duo. It was never a problem for Anzhela to score 20-30 points a game during the best years of her career (she averaged 29.7 points and 9.7 rebounds in qualifying for EuroBasket Women 2003). But now this veteran player has to pass her leadership duties to younger players. But even now Anzhela Duboiskaya has enough skills to compete in the Russian Superleague where she held her own for NUR Kazan last season.
