Hainaut Basket and Arras marched into the next stage of the EuroCup Women with wins in the Eighth-Finals on Wednesday. Hainaut prevailed for the second week in a row over Dexia Namur, 77-59. Amisha Carter had 21 points and 12 rebounds in the victory that put Hainaut into the Quarter-Finals. Hainaut had won the first leg in Belgium, 69-63. Arras, who romped to a 73-50 victory at Basket Landes last week, prevailed 55-45 at home over Landes on Wednesday. Gabriela Marginean had 15 points for Arras while France international Marion Laborde poured in eight points and corralled nine boards in defeat for Basket Landes. |
