Chevakata Even Record In Russia

Chevakata celebrated their qualification for the EuroCup Women Semi-Finals by winning at home in Russia over Spartak St Petersburg on Monday.

Fresh off their Eighth-Finals triumph over Nantes Rezé last week, when they overturned a 13-point, first-leg deficit by winning 92-72 in Vologda, Chevakata claimed an 83-70 victory over St Petersburg on the domestic front.

The game was knotted at 31-31 at half-time but after the restart, Chevakata outscored the visitors 25-13 to take command.

Russia international Elena Danilochkina and Jessica Davenport each poured in 23 points for Chevakata, who are fifth in the standings with seven wins and seven defeats.
