Nomi Kolodny

Career: Lakhen Ramat Hasharon (Israel-D1, 1999-2000), Hapoel Galil Elyon (Israel-D1, 2000-01), Maccabi Ra'anana (Israel-D1, 2001-03), Maccabi Ramat Khen (Israel-D1, 2003-04), Hapoel Haifa/Motzkin (Israel-D1, 2004-05), Hapoel Tel Aviv (Israel-D1, 2005-06), Bnei Yehuda (Israel-D1, 2006-07), Anda Ramat Hasharon (Israel-D1, 2007-09).

Kolodny grew up in the junior program of Ramat Hasharon but before returning to her home club in 2007 she played for six different teams in the Israeli league. During this long journey she twice won the Israeli league championship, including last season. Kolodny is one of the veterans on the teams that also has the knowledge and experience to help the team in tough times. A very high basketball IQ and understanding of the game in addition to good defense brings her to EuroBasket Women once again after her debut in 2007. Though she is a guard, Kolodny has a great nose for the ball and rebounds well from the position.
