Kostaki will always be proudly known both as the first Greek to play in the WNBA when she turned out for the Houston Comets and also for a sensational 26 point performance way back in 2004 at the Athens Olympics in the quarter-finals against the USA. One of the top point guards around, Kostaki is determined to find a new talking point to add to that list and this could be a success at EuroBasket Women 2009. Having switched from a pure shooting guard to handling the ball, she now has the versatility to really continue to shine both for her club and country. A great playmaker whose strength is very much in her decision making, she averaged over 10 points per game in qualifying and this 'Queen of Assists' will pull the strings in the backcourt for Coach Missas.
