Ivana Vecerova

Career: .Gambrinus Brno (Czech Republic-ZBL, 1998-2007)

If there is an unofficial title of “Miss Experience” in a National Team shirt, Vecerova wins it hands down. She is the longest serving member of the team, having made her first appearance 10 years ago, which is also the same year Bobrovsky came in as head coach. Vecerova has been a model of consistency when it comes to her overall statistics. She’s good for 10 plus points on any given night and is an excellent rebounder, pulling down seven per game in league play.  The Sumperk native’s career almost came to an abrupt end when a knee operation forced her out for most of the 2005-06 season. Her hobbies include cycling and in-line skating.
