Alina Iagupova had another stunning performance, just missing out on a triple-double

A near triple-double by Alina Iagupova fired Ukraine past Belarus 79-62 and into seventh spot as both teams wrapped up their U20 European Championship Women campaign in Debrecen.

Iagupova finished with 31 points, nine rebounds and eight assists to help her team to a comfortable victory, mainly achieved thanks to an excellent second-half performance.

Leading by three points at the break, Ukraine shut down the Belarus offence during the third quarter, only giving up eight points and it gave them the platform for success - as did a powerful run of 14 unanswered points which put them firmly in control at 51-37.

Belarus eventually managed to get within six points at 57-51 early in the final quarter, but a subsequent 13-3 burst by Ukraine condemned them to finishing in eighth place.

Maryia Papova impressed with 23 points and 10 rebounds for the losing team while Oleksandra Check also harvested a double-double, posting 14 points and 15 rebounds for Ukraine.
