Katalin Honti

Career: MKB-Euroleasing Sopron (Hungary-A, 2002-08)

Honti is the heart of the MKB-Euroleasing Sopron, a team that made the EuroLeague Women Final Four for the first time of the history of the club in 2009. She was born in Sopron and always played for her home side. Her father and mother were both basketball players and Honti's talent came out early. She was only 15-years-old when she played her first game in the EuroLeague Women, on 12th December 2002. She won a Bronze medal at the 2004 U18 European Championship Women, and silver in 2006 with the U20 squad. This 21-year-old is an important cog in the Hungarian machine.
