PLAYER HISTORY
Alexandra Muller

Career: Nördlingen (Germany-Bundesliga, 1992-2003), Northwestern University Chicago (USA-College, 2003/2004), Ludwigsburg (Germany-Bundesliga, 2004-2006), Wasserburg (Germany-Bundesliga, 2006-07)

This 24-year-old guard is one of the most talented players in Imare Szittay’s line-up.  A former track and field athlete, Müller knows how to use her speed. But besides her ability on the fast-break, it is her outside shooting that sets her apart. After returning from Northwestern University, Müller played for Ludwigsburg in the German Bundesliga and finished the season averaging 12.5 points per game and was the league’s second best three-point shooter. In her second year for Ludwigsburg the club failed to stay at the top level, but Müller remained red hot from three-point range finishing eighth in the league. This year, with reigning German champion Wasserburg, Müller struggled a bit from long range (30%), but still finished the season averaging nine points per game.
