Anda Eibele is an unselfish combo guard who started with the national team as early as 2004 but never played a crucial role. At a junior level she often played as a point guard even if her individual skills were better suited for the off-guard position. Eibele was Latvia's back-up playmaker at EuroBasket Women 2005 and the 2008 Olympic Games. She can be very dangerous from three-point range, but at the highest international level, she had trouble to show off her talent. Her club career has developed in an uneven way as well. Last season, Eibele started at the Croatian club Gospic, but she returned to Latvia just after the New Year. She signed a contract with SK Cesis and became an important part of her new team.
