Great Britain Under-20 women's coach Damian Jennings was a proud man after watching his team secure their place in the quarter-finals of the European Championship Division B by eeking out a 70-69 victory over tournament hosts Macedonia.
Tamzin Barroilhet scored four points in the final minute, including a pair of critical free-throws, to put GB over the top, and it means they can now face the Czech Republic in the battle for top spot in the group knowing their place is already secure.
"We had to really dig deep, as the crowd played a huge part in Macedonia's performance," Jennings said.
"It took great maturity and resilience to finish strong tonight and I am extremely proud of how my players and staff kept their cool. This was a win-ugly type of game but it again proved that we are prepared for all types of situation and game."
