Poland U20 women's coach Iwona Jablonska is relieved that Agnieszka Kaczmarczyk is fit again and back in the squad as the team attempts to win promotion back to the Division A.

The Poles will be taking on Israel, Portugal, Sweden and the Netherlands in Group B of the U20 European Championship Division B from July 11-20 in Tarnowo Podgórne, a town close to Poznań.

Over the weekend, Jablonska's group beat the Czech Republic under-18 side 80-53 and hammered the Ukraine under-20 - a Division A team - 71-56.

"It was good competition for my team," Jablonska said.

"We have a tough team, so we rotate during the game with all 12 players.

"I am very happy because Agnieszka Kaczmarczyk is back with team after an injury and she is ready for U20 Championship."

In addition to Kaczmarczyk, the key players in this Polish team are likely to be Agnieszka Skobel, Joanna Zalesiak and Marta Jujka.

"I hope that we will achieve our goal of getting back to Division A for next summer," the coach said.
