Adrijana Knezević

Career: Radnicki Novi Beograd (Serbia-A1, 2003-05), Ros Caseres (Spain-Liga Feminina, 2005-06), Perfumerias Avenida Salamanca (Spain-Liga Feminina, 2006-07), Faenza (Italy - A1, 2007)

Adrijana Knezevic received a nomination to the 2005 FIBA Europe Young Women's Player of the Year award after a success-filled summer with the Serbia & Montenegro U18 National Team. The 184 cm forward was a crucial part of the team that won a silver medal at the FIBA U19 World Championship in Tunisia in the summer of 2005 and followed that up, a few weeks later, with a gold medal at the U18 European Championship in Hungary.  She was in high demand after these successes and moved to Spain but didn't improve as everybody expected, averaging around three points per game for the past two seasons in the "Liga Feminina". Still, Adrijana has an unlimited talent and, at just 20, it seems likely that she will experience more success at every level sooner rather then later.
