While Kate Butters has never been a prolific scorer for the National Team, she is an interesting player who since her last involvement at this level has changed her game significantly. After spending more than ten years as a post-oriented player, she has worked hard in recent years on developing her guard skills and playing more in the backcourt and on the wings. She is a strong shooter and a really aggressive rebounder who loves to set screens and could give Coach Maher a great defensive option. This is because she has the rather useful ability to guard bigger players than her inside and also pose a problem for opposing guards too. |
