Lolita Limoura

Career: Ethnikos Pireaus (1995-2000), Esperides Kallitheas (Greece-A1, 2000-07)


Having just signed a contract with Virtus Viterbo for next season, Limoura will have a chance to get used to the Italian way of life at EuroBasket Women 2007.  She spent seven years at Esperides, having won a Greek "double" in 2006 and a Greek Cup in 2007.  In 2001, Limoura was tops in scorings, and assists and as a result was the MVP of the U16 European Championship in Bulgaria. One year later, in 2002, she was the number one scorer in the U18 Championship in Slovenia. In 2005, the Piraeus native was selected as a member of the “Best Five” of the U20 European Championship in the Czech Republic.
