Team 2010-11: Mersey Tigers (Great Britain-BBL) Career: Kent (USA-NCAA, 1992-96), Leicester Riders (Great Britain-BBL, 1996-98), Derby Storm (Great Britain-BBL, 1998-99), Sheffield Sharks (Great Britain-BBL, 1999-2005), Euphony Bree (Belgium-D1, 2005-07), Dexia Mons-Hainaut (Belgium-D1, 2007-10), Mersey Tigers (Great-Britain-BBL, 2010-11)
Nate Reinking is one of only two players to have been with the team since the journey began and while not exactly a household name across Europe, he's something of a legend within the British Basketball League. Despite some injuries last season, he was still a driving force behind Mersey Tigers winning three trophies. Now a veteran player, coach Finch would just love to turn the clock back and that's not surprising since the play-caller has also worked with Reinking for long spells at club level with Sheffield, Bree and Mons. Reinking is a trusted lieutenant of the play-caller, a super clutch shooter and a competent ball handler. He will have to be closely guarded since he is more than capable of getting points on the board and being a potential game winner as his percentages and 14.5 points per game during the Qualifying Round showed. |
