|Jermaine Flowers was red-hot with 28 points and 10 rebounds for Joensuun Kataja|
Joensuun Kataja kept their EuroChallenge last 16 hopes on track but ended those of CSU Asesoft Ploiesti with an 80-67 road win.
Jermaine Flowers poured in 28 points and collected 10 rebounds while Petri Virtanen had 17 points in the victory.
Kataja (2-2) took control of the game in the second and third quarters, with the decisive break a 9-0 run that made it 52-39 on Petri Virtanen's free throws midway through the third.
They had led 38-31 at half-time, but let Asesoft come back at them early in the second half, with Catalin Burlacu's three-pointer making it 40-37.
Antti Kanervo responded in kind before Darius Hargrove made a driving lay-up for the hosts to leave the gap at four.
But when Julian Terrell hit two free throws and Juho Nenonen followed up with a three it was the start of a break from which Asesoft would not recover.
Hargrove left Asesoft (0-4) with 17 points while Robert Nyakundi had 16 and Burlacu 10.
