Tartu Rock have played in some exciting games in the EuroChallenge over the years.

They will represent the country of Estonia once again in this season's competition.

Tartu gave their fans something to shout about with a 75-72 win over Kalev/Cramo at the weekend, a result that kept the side unbeaten in Estonia's KML at 5-0.

Justin Ingram was the game-winner for Tartu, hitting five of eight shots from behind the arc and scoring 33 points.

Gert Kullamae, the coach of Tartu, was all smiles after.

"Congratulations to the team because they had some moments where they defended very bravely," he said.

"It was a bit of a pity that our level dropped at the end of the game ... but in the end, everything was good.

"Also, a special thanks to Justin who had a career best game today."

BK Ventspils suffered a heavy defeat after their latest game in Latvia.

A side that is warming up for another run at honours in the EuroChallenge, Ventspils suffered an 83-62 drubbing at the hands of Valmeira.

Donald Sims had 22 points in defeat for Roberts Stelmahers' side, which was out-rebounded 42-19.

Ventspils dug themselves a hole they would not climb out of, trailing 29-15 by the end of the first quarter.

The frustration was evident for Stelmahers, who received an early technical.

Ventspils slipped to 3-1 with the setback.

Södertälje could be a force to be reckoned with in the EuroChallenge if their performances in the Swedish top flight are anything to go by.

Heading into Tuesday's clash with the Stockholm Eagles, Södertälje have just one defeat in their opening six games.

Fellow Swedes Norrköping Dolphins, meanwhile, have found the going very tough so far in the Basketligan with just three wins in seven games.

The latest side to beat Paul Burke's team was 08 Stockholm HR at the weekend, 81-68.

Norrköping are once again in the EuroChallenge.

Joensuun Kataja, who made it successfully through the Qualifying Round for the EuroChallenge, built some momentum over the weekend with a couple of victories in the Finnish top flight.

Among two Finnish sides competing in the EuroChallenge this season, Kataja beat Salon Vilpas, 76-66, and then blew out Korihait, 100-74.

Tampereen Pyrintö suffered their first defeat, falling to Kauhajoki, 82-78.
