Gay and Balazs Simon nailed three-pointers to spark a mini 9-2 run to bring Szolnoki within 33-31. Joyce answered with a long ball of his own and the Germans led 42-34 at halftime.

Jenkins and Paulding opened the second half with three balls to spark a 10-0 run for a 52-34 advantage. Bader would not let his team die without a fight but Oldenburg were too deep, pulling ahead 65-50 after three quarters.
