|Jure Lalic, alongside teammate Edo Muric, led KRKA with 21 points|
KRKA Novo Mesto kept themselves firmly in the hunt for a place in the Last 16 of the EuroChallenge with an 80-74 victory over Group A leaders Pinar Karsiyaka.
After making a fast start and jumping out to a 14-2 lead, KRKA found themselves narrowly ahead for most of a tight battle, but they finally found some separation to start the fourth quarter and they did enough to take the win.
With the visitors already through, perhaps they were not taking it as seriously as they might with KRKA racing to a big early advantage, as Jure Lalic's free throws put them up by 12.
But Karsiyaka would be level at 20 by the start of the second quarter thanks to William Thomas' tip-in.
And so began a tight tussle as the lead changed hands numerous times.
They were locked together at 56 when Robert Dixon hit a three for Karsiyaka.
But Edo Muric ended the third quarter with a three-point play and Marko Pajic started the fourth with a long ball as KRKA began to edge away.
A dunk from Muric made it 75-67 with 2:23 to go, and Matej Rojc and Murica again hit key shots in the final minute to hold off the visitors' challenge.
Muric and Lalic led KRKA with 21 points each, Muric adding eight rebounds and five assists.
Thomas collected 24 points for Karsiyaka with Dixon adding 16.
