|John Holland was red hot from downtown, leading Roanne Basket with 17 points|
John Holland turned in another solid performance to help fire Roanne Basket to victory in the EuroChallenge on Tuesday evening.
Taking on BK Pardubice in Group C, Holland made six of his eight shots from the floor, including three of four from long range, and finished with 17 points in an 88-73 victory.
Roanne improved to 3-1, the same record as BK Prostejov, while Pardubice fell to 2-2.
Holland had nine points in the first quarter - six coming on dunks - as Roanne took a 27-20 lead.
After falling behind by 15 in the second quarter and down 52-39 with 7:32 to play in the third quarter, Pardubice launched a fightback.
Corey Muirhead scored to start a 12-0 run and close the gap to one.
After Holland nailed a three-pointer, Maurice Hampton drilled a three for the visitors to reduce the hosts' advantage to 55-54.
Holland went to the other end and connected again from long range.
After Hampton sank a jumper for Pardubice, Roanne finished the quarter strong and led 64-56 going to the last period.
Roanne reeled off the first nine points of the fourth quarter for a 73-56 lead and led by as many as 20 points before sealing a 15-point triumph.
Hampton had 17 points in defeat.

"We had to react after our loss in the league last saturday. We have to be confident despite big differences in our own performances. We have to stay concentrated."
Pardubice player Tomás Tóth:
