Fuenlabrada bounced back from last week's heavy defeat at EWE Baskets in Germany and won in the EuroChallenge at Bemaco SPU Nitra on Tuesday.
Scoring machine Kirk Penny had 22 points as the Spanish club claimed an 86-75 victory.
Fuenlabrada only led 46-43 at half-time in the Group A game but took control in the third quarter, which started with a Penny three-pointer.
The New Zealander followed with a jumper to make it 51-43.
The Spaniards went in front by 19 in the quarter before taking a 75-59 advantage into the last 10 minutes.
The Slovakian fans were starting to believe a great comeback might be on the cards when a Branislav Tomek free-throw closed the gap to 76-67.
Tomek had 18 points in the game.
Lubos Barton stopped Nitra cold in their tracks when drilling a shot from the arc, and veteran Fuenlabrada shooting guard Ferran Laviña followed with another three-pointer to make it 82-67.
The Madrid club coasted the rest of the way to their second victory.
Nitra slumped to a third straight defeat.
Robert Vaden's 20 points and seven rebounds led the home side.
Porfirio Fisac (Fuenlabrada coach):
"We started to play our basketball after halftime, eliminated Clemente and his pick 'n rolls and forced other players to shoot unprepared shots. I am satisfied with this win in EuroChallenge and also with the individual performances of our key as well as our role players."
Luboš Bartoň (Fuenlabrada forward):
"I like playing here in Slovakia. Nitra didn't surprise us in any way. We had respect for our opponent and prepared really good for the game. We had to play our best basketball in the second half to win the game. The 13-2 run in 3rd quarter helped us a lot."
Ľubomír Urban (Nitra coach):
"We did want to win this game, but first of all, it's an honour for Nitra to face teams like Fuenlabrada, Oldenburg and Norrköping. These games bring us a lot of experience, that we would like to use in our league. We had a good first half, but the pressure of Fuenlabrada was huge afterwards. The final result is good for us anyway."
Branislav Tomek (Nitra center):
"It's whole different basketball than the one in domestic league, but we try to compete and win. I played a terrible game against Oldenburg, so today i tried to show everbody that I can play basketball. Fuenlabrada punished every little mistake we made, every turnover changed into their easy points, so it was hard."
