BC Zadar head coachTihomir Bujan:
"At first my congratulations to the team "Lokomotiv-Kuban" and their head coach. They played well. As you know we are not in a good form now. I was appointed to the head coach position three days ago. The second half of the game was better than the first one. From the beginning of the fourth quarter we were in the game already. Unfortunately we didn't have enough power up to the end of the game. However we didn't deserve so much difference in score. All the teams in our group are very strong. But the Adriatic league is the priority for us. The EuroChallenge is on the second place."
BC Zadar point guard Jakov Vladovic:
"We defended and attacked badly. In the second half we became better in defense and more clever in offense. We had the moment when we managed to reduce our lag to nine points. It's a pity that we have lost by so much. Lokomotiv Kuban have changed much since the times I played here. "Loko" acquired many very good players. For the present this is a very strong team."
Lokomotiv Kuban head coach Kestutis Kemzura:
"I am very glad that we have started the Top-16 with a victory. We began the game well even very good especially the first half. The tasks which were set before the game have been fulfilled. In the second half our opponent began to struggle better while our aggressive defense began to go down. It's successful that we managed to save that comfortable score advantage.
Lokomotiv forward Stanislav Makshantsev:
"Our team was more fresh and active in this game. That's why we were better in defense. We were getting tired a bit in the second half. Probably "Zadar" is in a transition period because of the coach change. Their psychology played an important role in their results for the present."
