It may be cold in Sweden but Norrköping Dolphins were red hot shooting the ball in the first half on Tuesday night.
The Swedish fans watched their team put 66 points on the board before the break against a woeful Türk Telekom and Norrköping ultimately settled for 101-89 triumph in the EuroChallenge Regular Season opener for both teams.
Seven different Dolphins players hit three-pointers on the night and they finished 14 of 27 from long range.
Trailing by 24 points at half-time, there was no way back for the Turks against the rampant Swedes.
When it was over, George Gervin's 16 points led a balanced Dolphins scoring attack.
The veteran also had six rebounds.
Mikael Lindqvist finished with 15 points while Joakim Kjellbom and Oladapo Ayuba poured in 14 apiece.
Europe has been very kind so far to the Swedish outfit because they also defeated Okapi Aalstar of Belgium in both of their EuroChallenge qualifying games.
Anthony Gaffney led all scorers with 24 points in defeat.
