BC FMP hung on through the dramatic final stages to beat Okapi Aalstar 79-78 on the road in their EuroChallenge Group F opener.
FMP were up 75-70 with 2:04 to go after Nemanja Protic split a pair of free throws.
But Jorn Steinbech's three-pointer sliced into their lead moments later.
Dragan Labovic responded with a three of his own, but Aalstar responded in kind through Brian Greene, making it 78-76 with 48 seconds to go.
Then, as the game moved into the final seconds, Predrag Samardziski drew a foul but could only make one of his free throws, keeping the lead at three, 79-76.
Aalstar raced to the other end of the floor where Greene missed a jump shot, with Damon Huffman grabbing the rebound and drawing a foul.
He made the two free throws with two seconds left to make it 79-78, but there was no time left for the hosts to get in another shot.
Samardziski and Andreja Milutinovic had 16 points each while Bojan Radetic had 13.
Aalstar wasted 23 points from Greene, while Korvotney Barber had 12 and Huffman and Bingo Merriex 11 each.
