Benjamin Woodside scored 18 points and Robert Lewin added 17 to lead BCM Gravelines Dunkerque to a 70-59 win in their EuroChallenge Group A opener against KK Buducnost.

Woodside made six of 10 shots from the field and added four of four from the free-throw line, while Lewin's seven of 11 (63.6%) shooting from the floor helped Dunkerque to an overall mark of 27-of-54 (50%).

Buducnost had begun brightly, taking a 14-8 lead when Nemanja Gordic split a pair of free throws midway through the first quarter.

They stayed out in front, making it 25-16 when Sead Sehovic sank a three-pointer early in the second quarter.

But Dunkerque began to claw their way back into the game as half-time neared, and they finished the second quarter with five straight points that made it 29-27 to the visitors.

The hosts quickly tied it in the third, and although Buducnost got their noses back in front, Dunkerque were not going to go away.

Instead, the hosts wrested away the lead on Nicholas Pope's lay-up with two minutes to go in the third quarter and never relinquished it, quickly pulling ahead thanks to a 14-4 run that decided the game.

Vladimir Dragicevic led Buducnost with 18 points while Gordic had 12.
