COACH QUOTES

Quotes Belgacom Liege vs. EiffelTowers

Kees Akerboom, EiffelTowers Player:

"Tonight it was really difficult for us to win. Liege made too many contested shoot behind the arc. We have a new organisation with the new coach and it will take a short time to find each other offensively."

Xavier Collette, Liege Player:

"I think it was a well played game. They have a very strong team, but we played a very good game and managed to stay on top throughout."

"It was a pretty good game for me. The team shot the ball perfectly, it was important to win this first game."

Tom Johnson, Liege Head Coach:

"We knew it was going to be a difficult game and EiffelTowers did well to make sure that it was difficult for us. They played some versatile offense and that caused us some problems with Giles."

"We stay on top throughout the game thanks to shooting from behind the arc."

"I expected a good reaction of the team because we had a bad last game in our domestic league."

Don Beck, EiffelTowers Head Coach:

"I want to congratulate Tom Johnson because Liege played a huge game tonight. Our opponents played at a high level throughout the game, and we're going up and down a lot."

"I'm disappointed by the way we played, we missed a lot of easy shoots while Liege made contested shots."
