| 06.01.2009 BC Triumph coach Stanislav Eremin: "We were in a very difficult psychological situation after the defeats in a row. But tonight we were concentrated and played good defense. It was one of our best our games this season and I want to mention that we played without center Krstic and forward Anderson. We made some rotations to let key players get some rest. Today we were good in three-point shooting."
Deutsche Bank Skyliners coach Murat Didin: "First of all I want to say that our group is very-very difficult. It's very hard to win on the road. We had a chance to win tonight, but Triumph played with a great percentage and deserved this win. We kept fighting until the last seconds, but today our rivals were luckier. The atmosphere was great and hot in the gym, I wish good luck to Triumph in the next rounds." BC Triumph player Vadim Panin: "Today we played good in defense, and we were good in three-point shooting. And although we had some problems under the basket we won this game." Deutsche Bank Skyliners player Keith Simmons: "We came out to play hard, but thanks to some successful rotations of Triumph the hosts won. I think that Vadim Panin brought us a lot of problems, he was unstoppable in treys." |
