Kyiv On The Money From Long Range, Beat Skyliners

BC Kyiv veteran Artur Drozdov started a game-winning 10-0 run with a three-pointer midway through the fourth quarter in a 66-58 triumph for the Ukraine giants at Deutsche Bank Skyliners.

Trailing 52-51 after Titus Ivory drilled a three for the Germans, Drozdov and Manuchar Markoishvili replied with back-to-back three-balls and then Drozdov capped off the spurt with another three that made it 61-52 with 2:19 to play.

Markoishvili scored 17 points and Kenan Bajramovic 13 for Kyiv, who improved to 2-1 in EuroChallenge Group H.

Skyliners, who out-rebounded Kyiv 41-34, dropped to 1-2.

Pascal Roller and Lorenzo Gordon each had 12 points for the Frankfurt team.

Gordon and Konrad Wysocki (eight points) each had nine rebounds.

Kyiv finished 11 of 24 from long range while Skyliners hit five of 22.
