Trushkin scored two baskets as Samara got the margin down to nine points but Cusworth's dunk made it 25-13 after the first quarter.

Two Kullamae three-balls helped push the gap to 33-15 and Yavin Green did all he could to keep the Russians in the game with the Israeli international's three-point play trimming the margin to 35-25, although Tartu led 42-32 at the break.

Scales then knocked down back-to-back three-balls to cut it back to 16 points, but Vallo Allingu's lay-up gave the Estonians a 64-43 lead after three periods.

Kullamae continued his hot shooting in the fourth with two triples as Tartu built a 74-47 lead with five minutes left.

Ullar Kerde then called off his troops and Samara out-scored Tartu 10-3 to make the final score a bit more respectable.
