NEWSPAOK BC survived a nervy evening in Cluj-Napoca before sealing there progress from the qualifying round of the EuroCup with a 71-65 come-from-behind win against U-Mobitelco of Romania. The hosts quickly erased the five-point deficit from their 79-74 defeat in the first leg and built a lead in the second quarter before the Greek side hauled them back and finally pulled away in the last five minutes. |

PAOK won the first leg of their EuroCup second elimination round showdown with U-Mobitelco but were hardly impressive in the 79-74 victory at home.
The Greeks had three players score 13 points with Georgios Tsiakos adding 10 rebounds to his point total. And Edmund Saunders added 12 points, five rebounds and two steals. |
