BCM Gravelines endured the slowest of starts and paid the price for it dearly as Maccabi Rishon Le Zion all but secured victory in their EuroCup Group D clash in the first quarter.
Rishon scored the game's first 15 points and rolled to a 90-62 triumph in one of the most lopsided games of this year's competition.

| Gravelines had won two of their opening three games and have fared well in the French top flight but they were never at the races in this meeting.
Reggie Moore, playing in the EuroCup for the first time this season, poured in six of his game-high 29 points in that early surge.
Gravelines didn't score until 4:23 remained in the first quarter when Rahshon Turner was fouled by Moore and sank two free throws.
That did not stop the bleeding, however, as Moore replied immediately with his third three-ball and Rishon Le Zion closed the quarter on an 11-3 run for a 26-5 advantage.
Over the next 10 minutes, the closest the visitors got was 17 points and though they trimmed the deficit to 47-32 with a minute and six seconds into the third quarter, they never posed any threat.
At the conclusion, Moore had made four of six (66.7%) from three-point range and seven of 12 (58.3%) inside the arc.
Rishon Le Zion and Dijon are both 2-2 with two rounds still to play in the group. |
