A native of Belgrade, Aleksic began his career with Red Star Belgrade. He moved to Montenegro in 2002 and spent one season and a half with Buducnost before going on loan to Lemsos midway through the 2003-2004 season. …. Aleksic played eight FIBA Europe League games with Lemesos (17 ppg and 6.5 rpg) and went back to Serbia & Montenegro (Hemofarm Vrsac) after Lemesos were eliminated from the FIBA Europe League. …. After starting the 2004-2005 season with Vrsac, Aleksic found his way back to Lemesos and played five FIBA Europe League games in Cyprus (17 ppg and 7 rpg). He has played the entire 2005-2006 season with Lemesos.
