Dynamo Moscow Region Finish With Win
// 31 January 2006

Dynamo Moscow Region ended their miserable Round II of the EuroCup on a high as they beat Vertical Vision Cantu 92-76 in Group J on Tuesday.

With both sides having already been eliminated from quarter-final contention, the match was a dead rubber but the win will at least give Dynamo some confidence as they look to cement their place in the top eight in the Russian Superleague.

Sergey Demeshkin led the scoring for previously winless Dynamo Moscow Region with 24 points, with Russian international Nikita Morgunov (20), Audrius Giedraitis and Samuel Hoskin (both 15) adding vital contributions.

Nicolas Mazzarino may have fouled out for the losing Italians but by that stage, he had poured in a game-high 27 points.

Canadian forward Rowan Barrett added 19 points for the visitors, who failed to recover after falling nine points behind (60-51) by the end of the second quarter.
