Maroussi Honda were not at full strength but they still marched to their fourth successive EuroCup win by beating Hapoel Tel Aviv Subaru 69-54 to clinch first place in Group F.
Panagiotis Yannakis' team had an offensive explosion in the first quarter and never looked back.
With the visitors from Israel leading 9-3 four minutes and 15 seconds into the contest, Maroussi caught fire and scored 16 straight points.
Sotirios Nikolaidis and Jared Homan each had six points in that spurt while Alexandros Kyritsis had the other four.
By the end of the opening period, the lead had grown to 23-10 and Maroussi stamped their authority on the game in the second quarter to lead 39-21.
Half the game was still to be played, but the victory was in the bag. The closest that Hapoel would get the rest of the way was 10 points.
Homan had 18 points to lead Maroussi, whose stars Roderick Blakney, Blagota Sekulic and Nikos Bountouris were given the night off.
"We played very good team defence tonight and covered the missing players," Homan said.
"We can improve our game more because it's the beginning of the season."
Coach Yannakis added: "We're guaranteed the first position, but the most important point was that our young players showed their desire and talent."
