Career: Azovmash Mariupol (Ukraine-Superleague, 2003-05).
One of the most promising young Ukrainian centers, Kyrylo Fesenko played this summer with the U20 national team in the European championship in Russia, averaging 6.8 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game… So far he has played mainly with Azovmash’s farm team in the Higher League, Ukraine’s second division where Mariupol compiled a 32-12 record, good for first place… He appeared in five games for his club in the FIBA Europe League. His playing time was limited (8 minutes per game) but when given the opportunity, Fesenko showed why he’s on a lot of scouts’ radar. He had 14 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in 23 minutes of action against Besiktas… He confirmed this good impression in July, netting 28 points in three friendly games against Poland with the senior national team.
