Germany: Köln See Off Bonn

Rhein Energie Köln beat Telekom Baskets Bonn 81-70 to record their fourth straight Bundesliga win and move them into the top five for the first time this season.

As is often the case in the Rhein derby, there was no lack of aggression and that helped the home side to a 22-15 lead in the first quarter.

Germany: No Gifts In Rhein Derby

It is the season of giving, but do not expect Telekom Baskets Bonn to present any gifts to RheinEnergie Koln on Monday.

The Bundesliga rivals, separated by just 25 kilometres along the banks of the river Rhein, are also very close in the league standings.
