Turkish side Fenerbahce are shaping up to be one of the top sides in the FIBA Europe League this season. After suffering a close home loss in their debut game against champs Kazan, they travelled to Kiev for game two and put on a clinic against their hosts - winning by a 31 point margin.

Despite a quick start, Kyiv soon founds themselves under pressure and they were unable to keep up with the visitors. Fenerbahce's zone defense proved to be an almost unsolvable puzzle for Kyiv and they soon fell out of reach.

Fenerbahce led by 7 at halftime, and were able to increase that lead to 19 by the end of the third.

Turkish national team player Omer Onan was Fenerbahce's top performer with 21 points. Bosnian point guard Damir Mrsic, who at 34 years of age shows no sign of slowing down, had 18 points while new signing Christopher Booker registered a double-double, 20 points and 10 rebounds.
