PLAYER HISTORY
Vladimir Veremeenko

At just 21 years old, Vladimir Veremeenko is probably already Belarus' top basketball player. …. The 208 cm forward proved that among his peers at the 2004 U20 European Championship for Men. Although Belarus fielded a relatively weak team (they finished in 9th), Veremeenko exploded for 20 ppg and 11 rpg in seven games. …. His talent was recognised by new Russian Superleague side Dynamo St Petersburg who signed him from Avtodor Saratov for the 2004-2005 season. …. The decision proved to be highly effective for Dynamo, who guided by coach David Blatt, recorded an undefeated European season on the way to the 2005 FIBA Europe League title. …. Veremeenko began the season with a 20-point, 12-rebound and five-assist performance against Hapoel Tel Aviv and remained a major factor in Dyanmo's unbeaten season. …. Belarus got the chance to involve Veremeenko in their 2005 Division B campaign and he did not disappoint, averaging 18 ppg and 11.7 rpg in three games.
